Hello and welcome!

 

My name is Ms. Bongiorno ("bonjour-no"). I'm so excited to be able to work with Collegium Charter middle school students, and look forward to seeing the great talent students will bring this school year!

 

When I'm not teaching at CCS, I am giving adult and youth pottery or painting classes at a community studio in Paoli, or creating art in my own studio. As an artist, I love working with 3D media, such as clay and wood. I also find myself working in watercolor, and charcoal, and other 2D materials. 

 

​I'm a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University ('We are Penn State!'), where I studied Art Education and Political Science. I have my AP studio art certification through CollegeBoard, and have experience teaching students at all grade--and skill--levels. As an educator I cannot begin to explain the joy that comes with the opportunity to teach and assist in the learning processes of children and teens.
