Have a parent/guardian sign your photo release form, so that your progess in class can be documented through digital photography!    Deadline: Monday, August 25nd

 

 

CLASS SKETCHBOOK

Complete your class sketchbook- have it attached, and pages bound, ready for critique by the beginning of class.       Deadline: Friday, August 27th

 

 

RELEVANT PRINTS - PRINTMAKING

Produce and submit 1 proof, 2 small final copy prints, and 1 large print design.

      Deadline: Wednesday, September 10th

 

 

THE MULTIPLE - CERAMICS

Create 2 functional pieces in clay.

      Deadline: Thursday, October 9th  - construction

      Deadline: Friday, Decemeber 19th  - glaze

Create a large-scale sculpture, inspired by the Pop Art movement and Claes Oldenburg.

Complete the 4 major sketchbook assignments throughout the course of the semester, as part of your final grade/Global Vision.   Deadline: Monday, January 12th (tentative) 

 

 

Sketchbook and Portfolio Suggestions:

Keep working on your sketchbook, creating free drawings and jotting down notes for yourself about major projects. Anything you make this semester can be used as part of your in your final sketchbook and portfolio. Is there a project you'd really like to work on independently? Make it happen!
