This is a follow-up course to Art 7. Students will continue to work in various media with learning emphasis placed on the elements of art. Information on art history, critiquing, and evaluation of artwork will be incorporated. Assessment includes hands-on projects, written essays, verbal and written critiques, self and peer evaluation, group discussions, teacher embedded assessments, and foundational knowledge.
